Who should attend the Arts & Disability International Conference (ADIC) 2018?
  • Artists/ Artistes / Art Practitioners
  • Voluntary welfare organisations / non-profit organisations / Art Centres which run disabled art programmes
  • Policy makers
  • Persons with disabilities and their caregivers
  • Advocates and individuals interested in arts and disabilities
 
Where and when will ADIC be held?
It will be held from 22nd to 23rd March 2018. 
 

Day 1

Date: 22 March 2018

Time: 0800hrs - 1800hrs

Venue: Sands Expo and Convention Centre


Day 2

Date: 23 March 2018

Time: 0830hrs - 1300hrs

Venue: Enabling Village

 

How do I get to the event venue?
Sands Expo and Convention Centre:
You can get to the Sands Expo and Convention Centre by car. The Sands Expo and Convention Centre is easily accessible via Sheares Avenue. From Changi Airport, the Sands Expo and Convention Centre is only a 20 minutes drive away. Participants who are driving can also park their cars in the Marina Bay Sands Carpark. Parking fees apply. 
 
Alternatively, participants can also reach the Sands and Expo Convention Centre via public transport. There are bus stops right outside Marina Bay Sands, making it convenient for participants to travel to the event venue. The nearest MRT train station is the CE1/DT16 Bayfront station which will leads you directly to the Sands Expo and Convention Centre via Exit E of the train station. 
 
Enabling Village: 
The Enabling Village is located at Lengkok Bahru. Via car, participants can find the entrance of the Enabling Village along Redhill Road. There are also parking lots within the venue. Parking fees apply. 
 
The nearest MRT station to Enabling Village is EW18 Redhill station. From Redhill station, participants can either take a 5 minutes walk to Enabling Village or board the complimentary shuttle services. Do note that priority will be given to visitors with impaired mobility.

Is there a dress code for the event?
ADIC 2018 will adopt a smart-casual dress code on Day 1. You may wish to bring a sweater or cardigan as the event venue could be cold. For Day 2, participants involved in the Workshops are advised to dress comfortably, and avoid flip-flops.

 

What are the payment methods?
Participants can pay with their credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard etc.) via paypal. No paypal account is required. 

No payment will be accepted on-site. 

 

Registration
 
How do I register for the conference?
You can register through the ADIC 2018 website Registration tab. Click here to register. 

 

Can I still make changes to my registration details after I have made payments? 
Yes, you may make changes to your personal particulars except for your name and your NRIC/FIN/Passport Number. 
However, you will not be able to make changes to the sessions/workshops you've selected. 

 

When does the online registration close?
All slots are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Registration will close once all slots are filled, or on 21 March 2018 at 12nn, whichever is earlier.

 

What is included in the Day 1 and/or Day 2 package(s)? Are meals provided?

Are there any discounts for the conference packages? 
Yes. There is a 20% early bird discount for both days of the conference. Please note that there are limited slots available so sign up early. 
20% discount will also be applied to group purchases of 4 or more tickets. Tickets must be purchased in a single payment transaction.

Can I only attend one day of the event?
Yes, you may only attend Day 1 of the conference on 22 March 2018. To attend Day 2, it is mandatory for all participants to sign up for Day 1. 
All participants are encouraged to attend both days of the conference. 

 

What is the cancellation policy for the conference?
All tickets purchases are non-refundable. However, they are transferable. 

 

If I can't attend the event, can I get my colleague or friend to attend on behalf of me? 
Yes. In an event where you are unable to attend the event, tickets are transferable so your friend or colleague can attend on your behalf. Please ensure your friend or colleague has a copy of the email confirmation sent, and brings a copy down on event day (hard or digital copy is accepted).

What disability access services are provided for ADIC 2018?
You are strongly encouraged to bring your caregiver along for the event if you require any special assistance.
 
Alternatively, for persons with disabilities, we provide the following services: 
  • Wheelchair Access
  • Sign Language Interpreter (Singapore Sign Language)
  • Live Captions
  • Bringing of Guide Dog
For dietary request(s), the options are: 
  • Vegetarian Meals
  • Halal Meals
  • Cut food into bite-sized
